The Mavericks handed Bad Intentions their first defeat of the 2006-2007 season. The Mavericks have continued their winning streak with a victorious defeat over the Bad Intentions Bowling Club. After being behind at the end of the first game, the Mavericks regrouped and responded with a close but refreshing victory. It was an "All Out Effort" by the Mavericks with special kudos to Jerry Paige (751), John Moore (741) newly acquired associate Lenwood (Rock) Brooks (701) and "Big" Keith Watson (700). The Bad Intentions Bowling Club has suffered its first lost of the season due the perseverance of the Mavericks. Bad Intentions is a bowling club that is known for their late rallying by supporting their bowlers with extremely loud cheers of "Let's Go BI". But to no avail, the Mavericks' support and cheers this night was just a little bit louder with our favorite cheer of "Here We Go Mavericks, Here We Go". After the last ball was bowled, the last drink was drank and all of the scores were entered into the computer, the Mavericks were victorious against Bad Intentions ("BI") by +58. Hats off to Bad Intentions, who once again showed outstanding sportsmanship and character and who also made this match game a nail bitter to the end.
